Experience

With 15 years of experience in clinical and academic settings, Dr.Mahesh specializes in Ayurveda Psychiatry. He served approximately 12 years at the Amrita School of Ayurveda, Amrita Vishwavidyapeetham in Kollam, Kerala, initially as an Assistant Professor and later as an Associate Professor. In this dual role, he was responsible for both clinical and academic duties, thereby contributing to the institution's educational and clinical objectives.

Dr.Mahesh has considerable clinical experience in managing anxiety and depressive disorders. His clinical methods are supported by evidence-based practices, gained through years of applied work in the field.

In addition to clinical practice, Dr.Mahesh has been involved in the development and implementation of mental health programs targeting adolescents. These initiatives aim to promote positive mental well-being among this demographic.

He has also participated in National and International forums, both as a resource person and as a delegate. His academic contributions include the publication of nearly 15 scientific papers in recognized journals, enriching the field of Ayurveda Psychiatry.

Overall, Dr.Mahesh has made substantial contributions to both academic and clinical settings, primarily in the area of Ayurveda Psychiatry.

Education

Dr. Mahesh C. Kundagol commenced his academic journey with a Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (B.A.M.S.) from the highly-regarded S.S. Ayurveda Medical College in Haveri, Karnataka. Subsequently, he attained his M.D. in Ayurveda from S.D.M. Ayurveda College in Hassan, Karnataka, an institution renowned for its specialised curricula.
